We register Bulgarian companies for people who'd rather not move to Bulgaria.

Bizport EU is a Sofia-based formation, virtual office, and accounting partner for international founders. We do one thing well — make a Bulgarian EOOD, OOD or DPK exist, run, and stay compliant from anywhere in the world — and we don't try to sell you anything else.

Why we exist

Bulgaria has been an EU member since 2007. It has the joint-lowest corporate tax rate in the EU at 10% flat, a 5% dividend rate, and as of January 2026 it's part of the Eurozone. For an international founder, these are not minor advantages — they are the difference between a viable cross-border business and an expensive paperwork exercise.

And yet most non-EU founders, when they search "EU company formation," are pushed toward Estonia, Cyprus, or Ireland. Not because those are better — but because those countries marketed their formation programs harder. Bulgaria has been the best-kept secret in EU corporate structuring for over a decade.

We built Bizport EU to fix the information gap and the execution gap simultaneously. We publish honest comparison guides (we don't pretend Bulgaria is the right answer for every situation), and we run the actual formation process for clients who decide it is.

What we do differently

Flat-fee pricing, no per-document upsells

€299 for a complete EOOD registration. State fees, bilingual statutory documents, NRA registration — all in. Other providers quote €99 then bill you €40 per signature, €80 per translation, €200 for "expedited handling". We don't do that. Our full price list is on the pricing page.

We tell you when Bulgaria isn't right

If you're raising venture capital from US/UK funds, you probably want a Delaware C-Corp or UK Ltd, not a Bulgarian EOOD. If you're reinvesting 100% of profit for years before an exit, Estonia's deferred-tax system genuinely beats Bulgaria's flat 10%. We say so in our EU country comparison and on every consultation call.

Fully remote, no notary visit to Bulgaria

Every registration runs on a notarised, apostilled Power of Attorney signed in your home country. We've onboarded clients from 40+ countries this way — including from places without Bulgarian embassies. If your jurisdiction has its own quirks, we'll tell you what to expect before you start.

We work in your language

Client communication, statutory documents, accounting correspondence — all available in English, French, German, and Bulgarian. Your accountant won't email you a 12-page Cyrillic VAT return and expect you to figure it out. Everything is translated by default.

Strict KYC because the alternative is worse

We refuse 5–10% of applications. That's intentional. Cutting corners on KYC means your bank account gets frozen six months later, your registration gets revoked, or your reputation gets attached to a sanctions violation that wasn't yours. We'd rather lose the fee than lose your business 18 months in.

Who we work with

Our clients are typically one of these profiles:

  • Solo founders and consultants — SaaS, agencies, technical contractors — earning €50K–€500K annually who want EU presence and lower tax than their home country offers
  • E-commerce operators — Amazon FBA sellers, dropshippers, Shopify store owners — needing VAT registration, EMI banking, and EU customer invoicing
  • UK founders post-Brexit running B2B services to EU clients who need an EU counterparty for VAT or contracting reasons
  • Digital nomads rotating between countries, needing a permanent corporate home that doesn't trigger personal tax residency anywhere problematic
  • Holding companies for international IP portfolios, investment vehicles, or future M&A optionality

We don't work with crypto-only businesses without verifiable source of funds, anonymous shell-company requests, or anyone unwilling to complete full KYC. We can serve almost everyone else.

Trust & compliance

Bizport EU operates under Bulgarian law and complies with:

  • AML/CFT obligations under the Bulgarian Law on Measures Against Money Laundering — see our AML/CFT policy
  • NRA (National Revenue Agency) compliance for all registered office addresses and tax correspondence
  • GDPR for all client data — see our privacy policy
  • UBO (Ultimate Beneficial Owner) registry maintenance and CRS reporting alignment with the EU framework

We work with licensed Bulgarian corporate attorneys and licensed accountants on a partner basis — not because the regulator requires it, but because we want to be sure every output meets the bar.

Where we are

Sofia, Bulgaria. The country we register companies in. We're not a marketing front for a service desk in another jurisdiction — every client document is reviewed and filed locally by people who can walk to the Commercial Register if a file needs hand-correcting (it occasionally does).
